Mahakarya Geo Survey (MGS) has successfully capped off the geotechnical investigation for Medco Power Indonesia’s PV Power Plant project on Pulau Bulan, Riau Islands.

Embarked in July, this project highlights MGS’s steady commitment to support our client, Medco Power. Geotechnical investigations in the early stages of PV power plant construction are essential for assessing both surface and subsurface conditions. Our investigation provides comprehensive data on soil characteristic and mechanical properties. We provided precise recommendations for foundation design and structural reinforcement, ensuring the PV power plant’s stability and resilience against geotechnical challenges throughout its lifecycle.

Our highly skilled team armed with extensive experienced and equipped with state-of-art technology, conducted a comprehensive survey using advanced methods. These included Drilling, Cone Penetration Tests with Pore Pressure (CPTu), and Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP). With precision and efficiency, we successfully surveyed 1007 points across the site, demonstrating our ability to meet the diverse geotechnical requirements of our clients.

By delivering reliable, tailored geotechnical solutions, MGS has played an integral role in supporting Indonesia’s renewable energy goals, contributing to a more sustainable future. This achievement underscores our dedication to excellence and reinforces our position as a trusted partner in clean energy infrastructure development.
